I grew up in a family immersed in artistry. My great grandfather was a master carpenter, my grandfather practiced metalworking, while my aunt delved into painting and sculpture. As a child, I found joy in crafting and sculpting miniatures.

At the age of 15 I contracted ‘Transverse Myelitis’ – a very rare neurological condition where the spinal cord becomes severely inflamed. It has left me paralyzed from the neck down. During rehabilitation, I encountered another girl with severe physical disabilities who painted with her mouth. Inspired, I embraced mouth painting as not just therapy, but a passion, too. In 2003, I became a student member of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA). This association was founded by the talented German artist Erich Stegmann in 1957. With over 800 artists from 74 countries, the MFPA transforms original paintings into unique products, sold to the public. Starting as a student member, I displayed my work in group exhibitions and had my art featured on various MFPA merchandise. In 2015, I was honored with an Associate Membership

My art revolves around themes of positivity and nurturing curiosity, appealing to both children and adults alike. I paint in a style that captures the vibrant, optimistic essence of reality, perhaps with a hint of naivety. Despite my disability, my paintings convey a message of life's beauty, often surprising viewers. I aim for viewers to not only observe but to feel part of the painting, connecting with the character portrayed. I believe the actions and observations within my art serve as reflections of the viewer's own soul, encouraging introspection

My primary inspiration comes from my children and my experiences as a disabled mother. I am also influenced by nature, animals, and light, particularly those in my immediate environment and what I encounter during my travels. Art, to me, represents liberation from physical constraints. Despite my paralysis, my creativity knows no bounds, as art begins in the mind before manifesting on canvas. The brush, whether held by mouth or hand, serves as a conduit for our thoughts

I aspire to exhibit my art in museums globally, including those in Israel. Additionally, I aim to further my involvement in the MFPA and advocating for the recognition of artists with disabilities. To me, art is an emotional expression rather than an intellectual pursuit. As an artist with a disability, I embody the spirit of resilience and hope to inspire others. My art seeks not to defy or depict pain but to celebrate beauty and foster connection. Through my representation as an "artist with a disability," I hope viewers will engage with the deeper messages conveyed in my art, allowing themselves to immerse fully in its essence
